BW Hotel L’Aristocrate Earns PREMIER Descriptor

Storied Hotel Family Unveils $3 Million Renovation in Time for Summer Season

PHOENIX (JULY 12, 2012)– The former BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel L’Aristocrate is now the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel L’Aristocrate after earning the BEST WESTERN PREMIER descriptor from the World’s Biggest Hotel Family®. The new descriptors, launched in 2010, give Best Western hotels the opportunity to earn the BEST WESTERN PLUS or BEST WESTERN PREMIER designation by meeting specific design and amenity guidelines. BEST WESTERN PREMIER represents an upscale hotel with a refined level of comfort and courtesy for business and leisure travelers.

“Our team has worked hard to provide a hotel experience eligible for the BEST WESTERN PREMIER designation,” said André Nadeau, general manager of the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel L’Aristocrate. “We offer the great service and value that Best Western is known for, and in addition we provide our customers with plush amenities and features that are ideal whether they are staying for a relaxing vacation or an important business meeting.”

George Nadeau built the original 50 room Hotel L’Aristocrate in 1963. It was later expanded to 100 rooms with the addition of a second wing in 1967 for the Montreal Universal Expo. Over the next few years, George’s sons Daniel and André joined their father as members of the hotel management team. The brothers have overseen several renovations and remodels of the hotel since it joined the Best Western family in the 1980s, transforming it from a BEST WESTERN to a BEST WESTERN PLUS to the first BEST WESTERN PREMIER in Québec.

When asked about the evolution of the hotel André said, “My brother and I are very proud of the history of this hotel. It is because of our team’s dedication to continuously improve the property, address our guests’ evolving needs and provide superior customer care that a 50-room hotel, built in 1963, has become an elite member property of Best Western.

• 100 smoke free guest rooms
• La Fenouillière, a AAA Four Diamond and Wine Spectator Award-winning restaurant
