ONLINE HOTEL RESERVATIONS

Q:How do I view my hotel reservations online and can it be modified if my travel plans have changed? A: To view, modify or cancel a hotel reservation simply following the instructions and enter your hotel reservation information visit our Check Reservations page.

Once you have retrieved your hotel reservation(s) online, you will be able to take advantage of the online reservation tools which allow you to: view travel reservation details, resend your reservation information to an e-mail address, cancel an online hotel reservation, cancel a hotel room from a multiple room reservation, modify/alter the number of nights for your Best Western stay, or cancel/review Best Extra products you added to your hotel room reservation.

Q: Am I allowed to cancel a hotel reservation that I made online?
A: Yes, just click on the Check Reservations page to and follow the instructions to retrieve your reservation. Remember to enter your name exactly as you did when you first submitted your online hotel reservation along with the confirmation or credit card number. Take time to review and understand the cancellation policies found on your hotel room reservation information page prior to canceling your specific hotel reservation.

Q: If I change an online hotel reservation, will I still get the same rate?
A: You may remove nights or products added to a reservation without affecting the rate; however, if you want to change arrival dates, we cannot guarantee the rate will be the same. In this case we recommend contacting one of our worldwide reservations centers for assistance.

Q: Do I need a credit card to make a hotel room reservation?
A: Yes, Best Western requires a credit card for all online hotel reservations. This guarantees your hotel or motel room until your arrival date. Your credit card will not be charged until you arrive at the hotel unless the hotel requires prepayment or a deposit prior. Prepayment, deposit and cancellation requirements will be displayed during the online confirmation process.

If you do not cancel online reservations in accordance with the individual hotel's cancellation policy, you will be charged for one night's hotel stay, unless your online hotel reservation required a full payment in advance or a minimum length of stay.

Q: Is your online reservation process secure to protect my personal and credit card information?
A: The hotel room reservation process through bestwestern.com is safe and secure. Once you enter your personal and credit card information, your online reservation is processed through a secure computer server. The personal information you enter is encrypted to keep it protected while in transit. For more information, refer to our online security certificate.

Q: What is Best Western's online cancellation policy?
A: Best Western reservation cancellation policies vary by location. Please review the policies of each individual Best Western hotel when confirming your travel reservation during the online reservation process.

If you do not cancel online reservations based on the individual hotel's cancellation policy, you will be charged for one night's hotel stay, unless your online hotel reservation required a full payment in advance or a minimum length of stay.

When full payment is required in advance, you will be charged for the entire reserved stay unless you change or cancel your reservation within the requirements of the individual hotel's cancellation policy. During certain travel periods, such as holidays and special events, a minimum stay may be required. For minimum length of stay reservations you will be charged for the entire reserved stay if you check out prior to the reserved departure date.

Q: Will my credit card be charged if I forget to cancel my hotel room reservation?
A: Yes. Reservations are guaranteed to your credit card. To avoid being charged, reservations must be cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined by each individual hotel. Take time to review the cancellation policies for your specific hotel reservation.

Q: While checking availability and making an online reservation, I receive a message stating my "session expired." Why is this happening, how can this be fixed?
A: The bestwestern.com site uses cookies to time user sessions. Please ensure your browser is set to accept cookies in order to proceed with checking Best Western low hotel rates and reserving a hotel room online.

Q: How do I make reservations for a large group (family reunion, club, etc.)?
A: Requesting 10 or more rooms for the same Best Western hotel and arrival date qualifies as a group booking. Group travel reservations may have different rates or hotel booking requirements. A: We have over 1,900 Best Western pet friendly hotels. Since qualifications on hotel rooms and options vary by hotel please refer to the hotel overview page for the desired hotel's pet policy.
