’Knock ’Knock is a free software program that delivers exclusive Best Western offers directly to your desktop. These offers can only be found by using this program.

3. How will I know there are new offers?
’Knock ’Knock will alert you with a small "Pop-up" box and give you an audible ’Knock ’Knock sound. The small tray Icon will also change colors to let you know a new offer has arrived.

4. Can I install ’Knock ’Knock on both my home and work computers?
Yes you can, when installing the program, use your email address and password that will be provided to you when you install the program for the first time.

5. What are the system requirements for ’Knock ’Knock?
For Windows:

- Internet Connection (broadband recommended)

6. How can I turn off the ’Knock ’Knock sound?
To turn off the ’Knock ’Knock sound, go to the ’Knock ’Knock Update Profile link at the top of your ’Knock ’Knock program. Here you will find a check box to turn sound on or off.

7. Can I change how often the program checks for new offers?
You can change the update internal time by going to the ’Knock ’Knock Update Profile link at the top of your ’Knock ’Knock program. Here there is a setting that will let you set the update check time form as often as every 15 minutes to once per day.

8. If I download and install ’Knock ’Knock, will it also install any other programs such as adware or spyware?
No, the ’Knock ’Knock program is a stand alone program and is completely self contained and will not add any other programs to your computer.

9. Will ’Knock ’Knock be used to monitor my online activities?
No, ’Knock ’Knock only operates within its own program. The only information that will be stored on your computer is your email address and zip code. At a future date, you GCCI member number may also be stored. Storing this information let's us tailor specific offers to you based on where you live and in the future using your preferences specified in your GCCI account.

10. Checking if ’Knock ’Knock is installed on your computer.
Once installed, you will see the ’Knock ’Knock icon located in your system tray. The system tray is typically located at the bottom of your screen. If you have exited the ’Knock ’Knock program, you can access it from your Start Menu under Programs -> ’Knock ’Knock. If you chose to create a desktop shortcut during installation, you will also see a ’Knock ’Knock icon on your desktop.

11. I am using a corporate network; can I still install the ’Knock ’Knock program?
Depending on the security setting of your network, you may not be able to install any programs on your computer without network administrator authority. In this case you will need to contact your network administrator to have it installed.

12. Operation of ’Knock ’Knock when not-connected to Internet
The ’Knock ’Knock program checks for new content from the Internet on a frequent and regular basis. Without an active Internet connection the ’Knock ’Knock program will be unable to notify you when new content is available. Because of the real-time nature of the program, some items in the ’Knock ’Knock program may not display if you are not connected to the Internet while using the ’Knock ’Knock program.

13. Firewall issues
If you believe you are having firewall issues, please check your firewall configuration settings to verify you do not have the following blocked:

14. ’Knock ’Knock and proxy servers
Some Internet Service Providers (ISP) and private networks use a proxy server to connect to the internet. If you are unsure if you require the use of a proxy server, please contact your system administrator or your ISP's technical support.

15. Send to a Friend
Click the "Send to a Friend" button is prominently located in the middle of the Knock Kncok program. Once you click on that button, you will be taken to a page that will ask you for the name and e-mail of your friend. In addition, you may add a personal message. Once you click on the "Send E-mail" button, you will receive a confirmation page verifying the information you entered.

16. Exiting the ’Knock ’Knock program
If you want to exit the ’Knock ’Knock program, right click on the ’Knock ’Knock icon on your system tray and click on "Exit." Note: If you exit the Kncok Knock program you will no longer receive live updates at the time they are delivered. To start receiving the notifications again, simply go to your Start Menu and select Programs -> Communicator and click on Communicator. You may also minimize the Communicator application and send it to your task bar. Once the application has launched onto your desktop, click on the minimize button. Click on the "X" in the application window and the application will go back to the system tray. Clicking on the "X" will not exit the application.

17. Uninstalling ’Knock ’Knock from your PC
The process to uninstall the ’Knock ’Knock program from your computer is simple. The Windows Control Panel located on your computer should have an option to Add/Remove programs. Once you click on Add/Remove programs you will see a list of programs installed on your computer. ’Knock ’Knock will be listed as one of those programs. Select ’Knock ’Knock and then choose remove.
