If you were enrolled at one of our Best Western properties, your membership card will arrive within 2-3 weeks after you have enrolled. If you enrolled online, your card will not be mailed out until after your first stay has been posted to your account. However, you will still be given your Best Western Rewards® membership number so you can begin using your account right away. REMEMBER, always provide your Best Western Rewards® number to each hotel you stay at, so that you can receive all of the rewarding benefits of the Best Western Rewards® program.

A “qualified stay” is one or more consecutive nights at the same Best Western hotel, regardless of check-ins and check-outs, at a rate eligible for earning points or airline/partner rewards through Best Western Rewards®.
Effective November 10, 2012, all rate programs qualify for earning points, except Employee Rate (EP), Friends and Family (FF), Best Western Rewards® Free Night Program (FX), Unit Card (UC), Hotwire (PL or D2), Priceline (PL, PN or D2), Priceline Promotions (1P or 2P), Orbitz Promotions (44 or 45), Travelocity Promotions (D3 or TH), Online Travel Agents (X2 or D2), Dynamic Net Rate Plan (Z9), Dynamic Net Tour Rate (X2), Global F.I.T. (FI), Aeroplan FI (92), Travel Agent (TA), and Crew or Deeply Discounted Extended Stays and Hotel Negotiated-(greater than 20 percent discount), and stays longer than 30 nights.
Best Western Rewards® members earn 10 points for every U.S. dollar spent (or the equivalent for other currencies), on their room rate excluding taxes. The rate paid must be a qualifying rate to receive rewards points or airline/partner rewards. Best Western Rewards® members can also receive points by shopping and converting points from other rewards programs or using services from our preferred partners. Reservations are always recommended, but you do not need one in order to earn rewards for stays. Simply tell the front desk clerk that you would like to add your Best Western Rewards® number to your reservation and your rewards will be credited to your account within 3 days of check-out.
Yes, simply log in to your Best Western Rewards® account from the My Account section on any page and book your reservation. To ensure you are credited the appropriate amount of points or airline/partner rewards for your stay; please present your Best Western Rewards® card upon check-in at the hotel. Not a member? You may choose to earn airline/partner rewards with a number of our global airline partners. To earn airline/partner rewards with one of these partners, select an airline as your earning preference and include your frequent flyer number in your account profile. You may change your earning preference online at any time by logging in to your Best Western Rewards® account from the My Account section on any page.
Best Western hotels are not required to issue both points and airline/partner rewards for the same stay. Your designated earning preference (points or airline/partner rewards) will be credited accordingly for each stay. Best Western hotels are required to issue points OR airline/partner rewards for up to 10 rooms booked by the same member for the same night provided that the member pays for the rooms with at a qualifying rate.

Free Room Nights are fully transferable and can be used at any Best Western brand lodging establishment in Asia, Australia, Europe, Central America, North America and South America that accepts the point value designated with the Free Room Night, subject to capacity controls and lodging establishment room availability, which may limit the availability of rooms offered at Best Western hotels.
