Welcome to Best Western Yosemite Way Station Motel!

We have Yosemite National Park as our backyard, and guests in our Mariposa hotel enjoy great value along with a fantastic small-town location.

We are near Yosemite and the Sierra, which makes us a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts. Walking, hiking, bike riding, watersports, and outdoor adventures abound in Mariposa County.

Helpful heads-up regarding Yosemite access: From June 15–August 15 and select weekends, Yosemite requires peak-hour vehicle reservations (6 AM–2 PM); guests can also enter via YARTS buses or during off-peak hours—visit nps.gov or yarts.com for details.

Along with Yosemite, other must-see attractions exist in Mariposa. The Mariposa Museum and History Center is an exciting place to pass an afternoon, visit our historic Courthouse or 1850 Jail, or the California State Mining and Mineral Museum, which are all favorites. Whether your passion is hiking, fishing, or relaxing, there is plenty to be had at or near this Best Western in Mariposa.

Situated in a park-like setting, there are seven excellent restaurants within walking distance, including fine dining options. Friendly staff members at our 24-hour front desk are happy to offer recommendations and tips to guests for their travels. From casual strolls to fishing, there are hours of fun to be had for the entire family.

Visit Mariposa Grove or three other groves of Giant Sequoias. Photographers especially enjoy the incredible bounty of Mother Nature that surrounds this Mariposa/Yosemite area. Explore the Old West the way it was meant to be with horseback riding tours.
