However, if you're like many of our guests, it's the great American sport that brought you to the region. A visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum or Dreams Park Baseball might be right up your alley. Even if you're here for medical appointments or business at Bassett Hospital, or it's a meeting at New York Central Mutual Insurance you have on the agenda, there's always time to squeeze in a little fun.
Located in a Commons Plaza where you'll be surrounded by shopping, restaurants and grocery stores, everything you need is at your doorstep. Our Cooperstown hotel is just four miles south of the Village of Cooperstown and close to the Leatherstocking Golf Course Otsego Lake. An afternoon on the links or a little fine dining is all possible. For guests who are bringing little ones to the youth summer baseball camp at Dreams Park, you'll feel right at home.
Make sure to check out the Pumpkin Fest or the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony if you'll be in town during those seasons. There's always something happening, whether it's an event at the Brewery Ommegang and Cooperstown Brewery or a festival at the Fly Creed Cider Mill, where the apple orchard and cider press deliver some of the most delectable beverages around.
Nearby institutions such as Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta bring a number of academics to our Cooperstown hotel, too. However, education doesn't just happen in the classroom. A trip to the Glimmerglass Opera or exploring the Howe Caverns is a real treat. From the Secret Caverns to our own expansive indoor pool, your dream vacation awaits. Enjoy our gift shop, game room, and picnic pavilion with outdoor grills to make the most of your vacation.
