Just inland of the Atlantic Ocean along coastal North Carolina, Wilmington is a charming seaside city home to UNC Wilmington.

Be sure to visit Battleship North Carolina, or head to the Cotton Exchange of Wilmington for some shopping. Just two hours from Raleigh, Wilmington is served by the Wilmington International Airport, and easily accessible from I-40. Enjoy revisiting the Wilmington Railroad Museum for an afternoon of miniature trains, and charming conductor hats.
