Rachel Austin
Vice President, Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources for BWH^® Hotels, Austin oversees all facets of Human Resources including employee relations, talent recruitment, benefits, workplace culture, diversity and inclusion, and employee learning and development.

Under Austin’s leadership, BWH Hotels has achieved record-high employee engagement scores and has been recognized as a top employer at the local, national, and global level.

Before joining the company in 2016, Austin spent over 20 years working for FedEx and served as vice president of people development and people operations for Massage Envy, a franchise organization with headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Austin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from California Lutheran University and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Antioch University.
