Santosh Khanjee

Santosh Khanjee was elected to the Board of Directors for BWH^SM Hotels to represent the interests of hotel owners in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. 

Mr. Khanjee has forty-five years of experience in the hospitality industry, joining the Best Western brand in 1987. During his tenure with BWH Hotels, he has been appointed to various leadership roles, including serving as a Governor – a liaison between the brand and its hoteliers. Mr. Khanjee is a developer and builder with vast experience in construction and business development. He successfully developed the first Aiden® hotel in the United States, bringing the brand’s hip upper midscale boutique offering to Austin, Texas. He was also the recipient of the Best Western Design Innovator of the Year award in 2020.

As Secretary of International Affairs for the Heartfulness Movement, Mr. Khanjee has led global operations in 130 countries for over 30 years, honing his leadership through a heart-centered approach. Heartfulness is a movement of non-profit organizations dedicated to sharing Heartfulness meditation with millions of seekers worldwide. Beyond his operational expertise, Mr. Khanjee advises several international non-profits, is a certified Heartfulness Meditation Trainer, and has served as the Main Representative of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission to the United Nations Department of Public Information.

Mr. Khanjee graduated from the University of Southern California and lives in Austin, Texas with his wife.
