Castle Green Hotel in Kendal, BW Premier Collection is perched on the edge of the Lake District, set in 14 acres of garden and woodland overlooking Kendal Castle and Lakeland Fells. Our facilities include a comprehensive fitness and leisure club with a beauty salon. This picturesque hotel lies just 10 minutes drive from the M6 and eight miles from Lake Windermere. So it's the perfect spot for exploring other beauty spots!

After a day's sailing, walking, museum-visiting, or steam railway-ing, you'll return to your home away from home, where a comprehensive fitness and leisure club with beauty salon awaits. Perhaps a tempting menu of dishes will leave your mouth watering and your jaw-dropping in the Greenhouse Restaurant or Alexander's Pub on the grounds.

Guests staying on a dinner, bed, breakfast inclusive rate will receive a 35 GBP per adult dinner allowance to spend on food only in either our Greenhouse restaurant or Alexanders pub. Please note Alexanders pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

So, join us for a day or two or three and take in the sights of this beautiful English hideaway. Friendly 24-hour porterage is available on request.

Our Leisure Club is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Friday. Last entry to gym and pool is 9 p.m. Weekend & Bank Holiday opening hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Last entry at 7 p.m.

Swimming must be pre-booked between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. & 5 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday. No booking is needed on weekends. Please sign in with the gym reception before your swim.
