Nestled among the pastel-coloured wooden houses of Gamle Laedalsoyri, the hotel offers an authentic setting where history, architecture, and Norwegian hospitality come together.

Spread across several distinctive buildings, including a beautiful 19th-century Swiss-style villa, the hotel blends National Romantic architecture with elegant Scandinavian design. Carefully curated interiors, shaped by three generations of Lindstroem architects, give each room its own unique character while maintaining a strong sense of quality and craftsmanship. The hotel offers 86 comfortable guest rooms, all overlooking either the surrounding mountains or the charming village.

The restaurant celebrates the flavours of Laedal with homemade dishes prepared from locally sourced produce from one of Norway’s renowned fruit- and vegetable-growing regions. Lindstroem Hotel is also an excellent base for discovering the area's rich heritage, from Gamle Laedalsoeyri and the historic King's Road to the remarkable Borgund Stave Church and the world-famous Laedal River, celebrated by salmon anglers for generations.
