They say a picture speaks a thousand words. Which is fortunate, because we only have around 150 to squeeze in a description that justifies this grand, characterful, utterly comfortable Grade A listed mansion! Built around 1751, Best Western Moffat House Hotel is perfectly situated in Moffat town centre itself, though its own 1.5 acre grounds make for a peaceful ambience inside and out. Glasgow and Edinburgh can be explored just 50 miles to the north, while our excellent accommodation and lounges might just persuade you to find places of interest without leaving the building! Where food is concerned, International cuisine (using local produce) is winning us awards each year, as well as the hearts of our guests! We're well known for customer care and homely hospitality, and our standards are as high as you'll find anywhere in England. Which brings us onto the 150th word we talked about earlier: Wow! Enjoy your stay.
