Welcome to rural luxury and a living manor by Lake Mjosa, rich in history. Here, you will find peace, light, space, and memorable meals in historic surroundings. In short, a stay that sharpens the senses and delights the soul.
We host conferences, weddings, and overnight guests. The listed main building, with its spacious and elegant rooms, offers a calm and authentic retreat. The terrace garden, uniquely built with stones from the ruins of Hamar Cathedral, adds a touch of history to the grounds. You will notice that you are a guest at a working farm, located in one of Norway’s most fertile agricultural regions.
Hoel Gard is largely self-sufficient, producing among other things chicken, potatoes, wheat, and rhubarb. From neighboring farms, we source apple juice, blackcurrants, and vegetables, to name a few. In addition, we focus on the finest Norwegian ingredients from across the country. You will remember the meals you enjoy with us.
Welcome home to a family-run Hoel Manor by Lake Mjosa, WorldHotels Crafted, owned and operated by the fourth generation. Warm regards, Sabine and Christian Fredrik, with staff.
