Although the hotel is inspired by winemaking, the guest rooms also draw influence from Brooklyn's industrial architecture. Exposed brick walls, concrete ceilings, cork floors, and floor to ceiling windows create a distinctive atmosphere.
Behind a glass wall in the lobby, you'll find the hotel's fully equipped winery with stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. Guided tours and wine tastings are available for guests who want to learn more about the winemaking process. The hotel also features two restaurants, a wine bar, and a rooftop bar open during the summer months. If you decide to step away from the winery experience, Solna has plenty to offer. Haga Park is just a short distance away, with beautiful walking paths and green surroundings. The palace was built in the 1600s and visitors to the palace witness many different epochs. Several Swedish regents have left their mark on Ulriksdal. Queen Kristina built a pleasure garden in front of the palace and Hedvig Elenora built an Orangery in the park. Queen Kristina enjoyed the palace so much that she let her coronation procession proceed from Ulriksdal. The palace was built for Constable of the Realm Jacob De La Gardie by architect Hans Jacob Kristler. The palace was called Jacobsdal until the time of Queen Hedvig Eleonora. Both the palace and the Orangery are open to the public during the summer months. At the Orangery an exhibition of Swedish sculpture from the Swedish National Museum's collection can be viewed.
