Hotel Overview
The Sure Hotel by Best Western Ojaby Herrgard is located in the suburb of Ojaby, just outside the City of Vaxjo. It is located 1.80 kilometers from Vaxjo Smaland Airport, 7.50 kilometers from the City Center of Vaxjo, and the travel center for train and bus transportation, where you can take local bus number 4 towards Ojaby and the Vaxjo Smaland Airport to the hotel. The Ekliden Stop is located just outside the hotel grounds, about 200 meters from the reception desk and the hotel buildings.
The hotel has 43 guest rooms spread over single, double, and multi-bedded rooms, as well as superior rooms with a separate living room or whirlpool bath in the room. All rooms have a shower and a toilet.
In the hotel’s main building, the hotel lounge offers a free coffee buffet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hotel also has a relaxation area with a hot tub, steam room, and a dry sauna available Sunday - Monday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday - Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The hotel is 100 percent smoke-free. We offer free parking and free Wi-Fi to all guests. We also have an attached restaurant where you can have dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. There is also a full breakfast served daily, and is included in the price of every room. Our breakfast includes breakfast fry, coarse bread, croissants, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit and vegetables, seeds and nuts, meatballs, bacon, scrambled eggs, and baked tomatoes, etc.
At the hotel, we also have conference facilities for groups from 2 to 100 people in the different conference halls. All of our conference halls are equipped with a beamer, whiteboards, flipcharts, notebooks, pencils, and free Wi-Fi. There is also a banquet hall for dining and parties up to 100 people.

- 13.00 kilometer(s) from Kronobergs Castle Ruins, lie on the Helgasjons strand (lake) and was originally a bishop's castle. Many probably associate Kronoberg with the insurgent Nils Dacke who spent Christmas at Kronoberg in 1542. Dacke's insurgency was struck down and the castle was built by Sweden's King Gustav Vasa and his sons as an important part of the border defense against Denmark. By this time, Blekinge, Halland and Skane were Danish landscapes. By the late 1600s these landscapes had become Swedish and the location of the castle was not as strategic. Then instead of breaking stones on the castle to the house building in Vaxjo. The findings of the archaeological excavations can be found at Kulturarvscentrum Smaland.
