During your next visit to Atlantic Canada, be sure to include a stop at COWS Creamery, located on the Charlottetown waterfront. This family-friendly creamery began producing their delicious ice creamin 1983, on the Cavendish Boardwalk. All COWS creamery ice cream is made with milk from their Prince Edward Island dairy farms and local ingredients.
After touring the creamery, be sure to sample one of the thirty-two flavors before deciding on your favorite flavor, for your own tasty signature hand-made waffle cone.
By 2006, the creamery began making three kinds of cheese: Cows Creamery Extra Old Cheddar cheese, Cows Creamery Applewood Smoked 2 Year Old Cheddar and Avonlea Clothbound Cheddar cheese. In 2011, the creamery introduced their unsalted and sea-salted butter to their line of products.
