Bruce Peninsula National Park
One of the largest protected areas in southern Ontario, Bruce Peninsula National Park is about an hour's drive northwest of Owen Sound and two hours from Toronto on the Niagara Escarpment.
The park provides visitors with the perfect conditions for a wealth of outdoor possibilities, including hiking and bird watching.
Arguably the park's most popular hiking destination, the Grotto is a picturesque limestone cave carved out by the waves of Georgian Bay. Meanwhile, the Visitors' Centre boasts a viewing tower that reaches 20 meters high and provides aerial views of the park and water.
