Groundhog Days
First established in 1992, Groundhog Days is an annual event held each February in not only Woodstock, but around the world. However, this historic northern Illinois town was the setting for the 1992 film Groundhog Day, and has been celebrating ever since.
Starting at Woodstock Square with the Awakening event, this free festival offers walking tour of filming sites and movie screenings – plus bowling, chili cook-offs, pancake breakfasts, and more. And no matter how you get to Groundhog Days, don’t drive angry.
