On your next trip to the Hoosier State save time to explore the variety of Indiana shopping destinations. Indianapolis is home to several shopping malls. Circle Center offers more than 100 shopping options including H&M, Banana Republic, and upscale restaurants. Castleton Square is one of the largest malls in the state. Shop anchor stores like Macy’s and J.C. Penney and browse among 130 specialty shops. Greenwood Park Mall offers both indoor and outdoor shopping areas with more than 150 stores and eateries. Fashion Mall at Keystone also serves the Indy metro area. The upscale shopping center is anchored by Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. Shop Burberry, Tiffany & Co., and Kate Spade, or browse for tech gadgets at the Apple Store.

Mass Ave Arts District is a five-block area of Indianapolis filled with independent boutiques, art galleries, theaters and restaurants. Towns like Muncie, Jasper and Kokomo offer fun historic districts brimming with unique shops selling everything from home décor, apparel, and accessories to gourmet foods, shoes, and jewelry. Words and Images/The Train Place in Metamora features railroad memorabilia, kerosene lamps, and lanterns, toy trains, cast iron cookware, and a diverse selection of antiques, books, and collectibles. The Old Bag Factory in Goshen is housed in a former soap factory. Built in 1896, the historic building is now home to artisans who sell their crafts. Shop at a variety of boutiques and take a break at on-site eateries. Coppes Commons is home to boutiques, antique stores, and an artisan market. Located in historic Nappanee, the shops are housed in a renovated cabinet factory. Shop for locally made apparel, home décor, and crafts, or indulge in pastries, ice cream, cheeses, and candies.

Get in the holiday spirit at the Christmas Store in Santa Claus. Brimming with gifts, decorations, collectibles, and candies, it’s open from May-December. Santa is on hand for visits during the summer and winter. Don’t miss Santa’s Toys with over 2800 toys to choose from. Downtown Shipshewana offers an Olde World Christmas Market in early December. Enjoy holiday lights, a festive atmosphere, and family-friendly activities as you browse for gifts. Located in Amish Country, Shipshewana Trading Place Auction & Flea Market is the largest flea market in the Midwest. Browse over 900 booths on 40 acres. Held from May-September on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the market features auctions, handcrafted wares, apparel, home décor, antiques, and unique gift items. Chesterton’s European Market is a French-inspired market in downtown Chesterton. Held on Saturdays from May-October, the market features artisan crafts, fresh pastries, gourmet goods, locally grown produce, soaps, and more.

Take the River and Roads Artisan Trail in Terre Haute to find locally made creations including leatherwork, ceramics, alpaca fiber art, and paintings. Quilt lovers will enjoy a visit to Essenhaus Village Shops in Middlebury. Browse several specialty shops displaying hand-crafted quilts, jewelry, wall art, apparel, and accessories. Country Quilt Creations in Bremin also offers a huge selection of handmade quilts. Stock up on supplies and fabrics or buy a pattern book for a quilting fan.

Annie Oakley Perfumery in Ligonier features perfumes created by the Gabet family. Enjoy a factory tour of the perfume making process, sample various scents, and create your own fragrance. The factory/store is located 14 miles south of Shipshewana off Hwy. 5. Country Shops of Grabill in Amish Country is situated in the historic Souder’s Building in downtown Grabill. Browse wares from over 150 vendors selling everything from vintage apparel and antiques to handmade crafts and home décor. Be sure to visit the adjacent general store for nostalgic candies and collectibles. The Bloomington Antique Mall in the historic Tom Taylor Building features three floors of antiques, art, crafts, and memorabilia. Shop for treasures among 100 vendors.

Stop by the Indiana Store for authentic souvenirs, gifts and crafts made in the Hoosier State. Situated in the Indiana State Museum at White River Park in Indianapolis, the store offers apparel, books, ornaments, and locally-made food and beverage products.

Shipshewana Flea Market is held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from May through October, while the Shipshewana Auction is a hotbed for livestock and antique sales. Old Bag Factory

Once a thriving commercial facility, the Old Bag Factory was built in Goshen, Indiana in 1896. Originally housing the Cosmo Soap Company, the building now a mecca for artists and merchants in the northern Indiana community.
