Voyageurs National Park
Become One with Nature and Soak Up History
Continue your education on the French-Canadian fur trade at Voyageurs National Park just outside International Falls. You can only access the park by water so climb aboard your canoe, kayak, or houseboat, or else take a guided tour boat.
Take the family camping at one of the park’s 175 sites. Bring your fishing gear and catch some walleyes, pikes, bass, Crappie, and much more. Go hiking along 50 miles of trails. If you get out to Voyageurs in the winter, make sure you take advantage of the great snowmobile trails.
Wolves, black bears, moose, and white-tailed deer abound so you’re in for a real treat if you appreciate Mother Nature’s favorite creatures. Bask in Voyageurs’ beautiful lakes, such as Kabetogama, Namaken, or Sand Point.
