The city is also the homeport of the largest car ferry on the Great Lakes. You can load up in Manitowoc ride to Ludington, Michigan and back.

On the northwest shore of Lake Winnebago, you will find the city of Appleton. This area is an urban area known as the Fox Cities. Located along the Fox River and Lake Winnebago, Fox Cities is a popular destination for shopping.
