Park at OWA in Foley is Alabama’s newest theme park. Situated 45 minutes south of Mobile, the 14-acre site is the largest amusement park in Alabama. Built by the Poarch Creek Indian Tribe at a cost of $500 million, the park is designed to attract patrons from a four-state area. Offering 21 rides and attractions for all ages, the attraction is a fun destination for a day trip or weekend getaway.

Enjoy thrill rides, kiddie rides, water-themed rides, racing cars, bi-planes, a flying carousel, the Rockin’ Raft, Sky Balloon, and Rollin’ Thunder. Have fun playing games at the Midway, browse the gift shop, and enjoy a variety of fast food options including burgers, sandwiches, and ice cream.

Splash Adventure in Bessemer is a short drive from Birmingham. Designed primarily as a water park, the attraction also features dry rides including bumper boats, a mini-train, and Rampage, a wooden roller coaster. Water rides include Neptune’s Plunge, a five-story tower with single and double inner tubes. Kahuna Waves, Warrior River, Wipeout Adventure Course, and Salamander Bay are all fun options, especially on a hot summer day.
