America's Pastime in Alabama In the central AL city of Birmingham, baseball’s Birmingham Barons bunt, bat, and blast home runs at Regions Field. As the longtime Double-A affiliates of the Chicago White Sox, the Barons have won the Southern League Championship over five times, and have made countless playoff appearances.
Down in the scenic, bayside community of Mobile, the Mobile BayBears serve as the Double-A farm club of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and have done so since 2007. The BayBears play home games at Hank Aaron Stadium, affectionately named after Mobile native and MLB great Hank Aaron.
Over in Montgomery, fans of the Tampa Bay Rays can check out the team’s best and brightest prospects at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Even better, before or after a Biscuits game, you can check out the multitude of delicious restaurants and nightlife just steps away form the stadium.
