Alabama Soccer Stadium

Soccer is an exciting and internationally popular sports, with American-based popularity growing fast. During your next visit to Alabama, be sure you catch an exciting college soccer match at Alabama Soccer Stadium.

Venture into the central region of Alabama any time from late summer all the way through spring of the next year to catch a University of Alabama women's soccer match. Tuscaloosa is a charming city, and a stay there will yield an easy trip to this impressive soccer venue. Alabama Soccer Stadium seats 1,500 fans.

Auburn Arena

Many travelers flock to Alabama for an exciting array of top college athletics. Aside from the wide range of historic sites, cultural must-see's, and a whole list excellent down South attractions, Alabama opens up a bevy of can't-miss college sports. Head for Auburn in the southern region of the state and check out the Auburn University Tigers compete.

On the Auburn University campus, be sure to check out Auburn Arena, home of the Auburn Tigers men's and women's basketball teams. Opened in 2010, Auburn Arena is a multi-use venue which can seat 9,121 fans. You can find Auburn Arena on the northern ridge of campus, adjacent to the Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Bryant-Denny Stadium

Constructed in 1929, Bryant-Denny Stadium is located on the main campus of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Set in central Alabama, Bryant-Denny Stadium is primarily the raucous home field advantage of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team and the Alabama High School Athletics Association.

The structure gets its namesake from former university president of 25 years, George H. Denny, and legendary college football coach and player, Paul "Bear" Bryant. The nation’s fifth largest stadium, Bryant-Denny Stadium has a seating capacity for over 100,000 fans donning crimson and chanting "roll tide."

Coleman Coliseum

You'll always find something exciting, and ultimately enriching, to see and do during a stay in Alabama. Plan your next visit and head for Tuscaloosa, home of the ever-popular Alabama Crimson Tide. During your visit, be sure to explore the Coleman Coliseum, a multi-purpose venue, and most prominently the home of Crimson Tide basketball.

You can find Coleman Coliseum at the southern edge of the University of Alabama campus, just east of Hackberry Lane and Coliseum Street. Opened in 1968, and the renovated in 2005, Coleman Coliseum seats 15,383 fans during Alabama basketball games. From 1968 to 1988, it was known as Memorial Coliseum.

Hank Aaron Stadium

Opened in 1997, Hank Aaron Stadium is a minor league baseball stadium set in the Gulf Coast community of Mobile. “The Hank” primarily serves as the home ballpark of the Mobile BayBears, who are the Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The stadium is named after iconic MLB ballplayer and Mobile native, Hank Aaron, and features a plague outside the stadium commemorating Aaron, as well other great major leaguers hailing from Mobile.

Jack Allen Soccer Complex

Set along Modaus Road, the Jack Allen Complex is a renowned recreation and sporting complex set in Decatur in northern Alabama. Seating more than 3,000 people, the complex features 11 soccer fields across 27 acres.

The Jack Allen Soccer Complex also includes two championship fields, measuring 75 by 120 yards, plus concessions, meeting space, and a playground for the young ones. The complex hosts large events as well, like the President's Cup and the Olympic Development Program tryouts.

Jordan-Hare Stadium

Home to the NCAA’s Auburn Tigers, Jordan-Hare Stadium is found on the Auburn University campus in southern Alabama – near Opelika. This 87,451-seat venue was completed in 1939 as Auburn Stadium, but has gone through numerous renovations since.

The complex is officially known as Pat Dye Field at Jordan-Hare Stadium, paying homage to historic Auburn football figures, Pat Dye, Cliff Hare, and Ralph "Shug" Jordan. During the fall, the stadium becomes a raccous home field advantage for the Tigers when they take on in-state rivals, the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Legion Field Stadium

Completed in 1927, Legion Field Stadium is a 71,594-seat stadium and outdoor venue set in central Alabama. Located in Birmingham, Legion Field is also known as the Football Capital of the South, and Old Grey Lady. The stadium was most recently the home of the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazers football team. Legion Field also hosts the annual BBVA Compass Bowl, the Birmingham Bowl, high school athletics, and large concerts.

Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium

Opened in 2003, Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium is a minor league baseball stadium nestled along the Gun Island Chute in downtown Montgomery. The stadium serves as the home ballpark of the Montgomery Biscuits; the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. Seating just over 4,500, fans can enjoy the luxury of being steps away from the nightlight and various restaurants in Montgomery. Too, the ballpark is adjacent to Riverwalk Park, offering great nearby recreation.

Pete Hanna Center

Plan your next trip to Alabama for the fall, winter, or early spring – it's college basketball season. Enjoy a stay in Birmingham, where you can check out the high-flying action of Samford University basketball. Be sure to make your way on over to the Pete Hanna Center, home of the Samford Bulldogs basketball and volleyball teams.

The Pete Hanna Center can seat up to 4,974 fans, has an authentic hardwood playing surface, and was opened for play in 2007. Within the Pete Hanna Center you can find the Thomas E. and Marla H. Corts Arena. The Pete Hanna Center is easily accessed via Lakeshore Drive, and is only five miles south of downtown Birmingham.

Regions Field

Opened in 2013, Regions Field is a minor league baseball stadium set in the central Alabama metro of Birmingham. The stadium serves at the home ballpark of the Birmingham Barons of MiLB’s Southern League and the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazers.

The Barons are the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, and often feature up-and-coming MLB players on their roster. The stadium is conveniently set in southside Birmingham, only a short walk from the UAB campus and Railroad Park.

Rhoads Stadium

You can find Rhoads Stadium on the University of Alabama campus in central AL, just off of McFarland Blvd. and 5th Ave. East. Rhoads Stadium was built in 2000, seats 3,900 fans, and features a full LED scoreboard. Each year, the Alabama softball team kicks off their season in mid-February, and plays through early May.

Samford Stadium

Be sure to visit Samford Stadium during your stay in Auburn for exciting Auburn Tigers baseball. Officially known as Samford Stadium – Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park, this venue has hosted Auburn Tigers baseball since 1950. It seats 4,096 fans, and has been rated as the Best College Baseball Venue in the America by Baseball America.

Seibert Stadium

This fall, when you're traveling through Alabama, set your sights for Seibert Stadium. Found in Birmingham, this venue is home to the Samford University football team. As you trek through central Alabama, make time to enjoy an exciting college football game at Seibert Stadium.

You can find Seibert Stadium on the Samford University campus, directly south of downtown Birmingham. Built in 1957, Seibert Stadium seats 6,700 fans – the Samford University Bulldogs have kick off their season each year in late August or early September. The venue was named in honor of F. Page Seibert, who donated money towards the completion of the stadium.

Sewell-Thomas Stadium

There are many ways to enjoy your next visit to Alabama. You can check out the wide range of excellent family-friendly attractions, the numerous Civil War sites, and golfers will love the RTJ Golf Trail. When your visit has you in central region, be sure to explore Tuscaloosa – don't miss a University of Alabama baseball game at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

Opened in 1948, the Sewell-Thomas Stadium is an impressive college baseball venue, seating 5,800 fans, with a gorgeous natural grass field. You can find the Crimson Tide's home baseball diamond on the Alabama campus, just along Paul W. Bryant Drive and 2nd Avenue.

Foster Auditorium

Plan your next visit to the Heart of Dixie and check out the Foster Auditorium in Tuscaloosa. Make your way into the central region of the state to experience University of Alabama women's basketball.

Opened in 1939, Foster Auditorium seats 3,800 fans for basketball games, but it also a multi-purpose facility. Added as a National Historic Landmark in 2005, the Foster Auditorium is named after Richard Clarke Foster, who was the University of Alabama president from 1937 to 1941. You can find it on the south side of campus.
