Visit New Orleans Jazz Park in Louisiana

A Louisiana vacation is never complete without visiting the New Orleans Jazz Park. Situated in the Louis Armstrong Park, it was created to help keep the New Orleans Jazz Culture thriving.

Explore one of the biggest attractions of the park, which is the Perseverance Hall No. 4, Louisiana’s oldest Masonic temples and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Be sure not to miss the Jazz History Self-Guided Audio Tour. You’ll also find live jazz being played on certain days. Check with the visitor center. You’ll find the Ranger’s Station at the Old US Mint, which is another must-see attraction. Don’t forget about the bookstore as well. Bring home a piece of history with a souvenir or two.

If you hit the park at the right time, you may catch one of several events in progress. A must for all jazz lovers! You’ll find the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the Satchmo Summer Fest to name a few.
