Just a few blocks away you will find the landmark Radio City Music Hall.  This hallowed stage hosts a range of musical performances, sports events, shows, and of course the world renowned Rockettes.^™ 

Window shop along the famed Fifth Avenue, one of the most expensive shopping areas in the world. Exploring this grand roadway will take you past some of the most famous parks and landmarks including Washington Square Park, Bryant Park, the New York Public Library, Central Park and the famed Plaza Hotel. 

Financial District and One World Trade Center

Stop by the place that started it all – Federal Hall National Memorial on Wall Street and get a real feel for the pulse of buzzing Manhattan life. While in Lower Manhattan, tour the 9/11 Memorial and Tribute Center featuring exhibits honoring those who lost their lives and moving walking tours by survivors, rescue workers, and family members.  In 60 seconds you can soar to the top of the tallest building in the western hemisphere and arrive at One World Observation located in One World Trade Center. 

Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island 

No trip to NYC is complete without a ferry ride to Ellis Island and visiting the majestic Statue of Liberty. Ellis Island still welcomes visitors today, just as it did when the first immigrants passed through in the early 1890s. Spend time researching your family roots at the Ellis National Park and Museum and enjoy the panoramic views from the Crown of the Statue of Liberty. 

The Big Apple also features unmatched historic sites, ten national parks, and renowned institutes like Columbia University and New York University. Head down the West Side Highway with scenic Hudson River views. Shop Chelsea Pier boutiques and markets for unique New York trinkets, or walk the 1.45-mile High Line, an elevated platform highlighting the history of the New York Central Railroad’s Central West Side Line. 

Museums

There is no shortage of world-class museums in New York City.  From paintings, sculptures, historical artifacts or the amazing architecture in the city, there is something for everyone to explore.   With over 2 million works of art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is a popular stop for most visitors.  The Museum of Modern Art of MoMA features some of the most classic artists known to history along with thought provoking installations, sculptures and photography by modern artists.  With its distinctive modern Frank Lloyd Wright design, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum features an extensive collection of modern art. 

If you love giant fossils, then a day at the American Museum of Natural History should be on your itinerary.  Located at Pier 86, the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum features amazing exhibits including the Discovery Space Shuttle, the British Airways Concorde airplane, an American guided missile submarine, and the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier.

Feel the city’s heart and soul and join loyal sports fans. Watch the NBA’s New York Knicks^® and NHL’s New York Rangers^® at the iconic Madison Square Garden or the NHL’s Islanders^® at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn.
