The National Mall and Memorial Parks

The National Mall and Memorial Parks was established in 1965 by the National Park Service.

This enabled the protection of historic parkland and several American iconic memorials including the National Mall, Washington Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

The Constitution Gardens, the Old Post Office Tower and the Pennsylvania Avenue National Historic Site are additional sites in the DC area to visit. Rest comfortably while exploring the nation's capitol.
