Discover Science at the Maryland Science Center
The Maryland Science Center gives visitors to Baltimore's Inner Harbor the chance to explore the ocean's depths, Earth's prehistoric past, the insides of cells, and the wonders of space. No matter your age, the exhibits are a fun way to learn a bit more about the way the universe works.
Visit the Dinosaur Mysteries exhibit to find out what it's like to be a paleontologist, walking in dinosaur tracks and measuring dinosaur bones. The Life Beyond Earth exhibit lets visitors see how scientists are hunting for planets; learn even more about space in the planetarium or an IMAX movie. Newton's Alley explores the basics of physics through hands-on activity. Relate science to everyday life in the Science & Main exhibit. Step into SciLab and try out science for yourself-even extract DNA! There are lots of other great exhibits to explore, and the Kids Room means even the littlest visitor gets to experiment.
