Baltimore National Heritage Area
With locations and must-see sites sprinkled throughout “Charm City,” the Baltimore National Heritage Area preserves several neighborhoods and sites with historical, cultural, and environmental significance. Specific Baltimore and central Maryland NHA’s include the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House, the Fort McHenry National Monument, and more.
Outdoor recreation and sightseeing opportunities can be found throughout the NHA as well, including Cherry Hill Park overlooking Chesapeake Bay and the Rawlings Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in northern Baltimore. Guests looking to familiarize themselves with the entirety of the NHA can first stop by the Baltimore Visitor center for maps and tourist info.
