The country’s largest indoor agricultural exposition, the Pennsylvania Farm Show is a highly anticipated annual event of Harrisburg and Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Held at the 24-acre Farm Show Complex & Expo Center every January, the Pennsylvania Farm Show plays host to 400,000 visitors, 6,000 animals, and more than 10,000 exciting competitive exhibits.
Beginning in 1917 and considered Pennsylvania’s State Fair, the Pennsylvania Farm Show is set on 24-acres and includes horse, livestock, and agricultural shows.
With roots dating back to 1896, the Devon Horse Show is noted as being one of the largest and oldest outdoor, multi-breed events of its kind in the U.S. Held in late June, the Devon Horse Show is a major draw for the city of Devon, with many guests visiting from nearby King of Prussia and the Philadelphia area.
Events at the Devon Horse Show include the One Arm Bandit & Co. Wild West Show, Radnor Hunt, and the Wells Fargo Stagecoach display. Some horse disciplines include Friesians, Jumpers, Roadsters, Saddlebreds, and Hunters.

Held at the York Expo Center, the historic York Fair occurs west of Philadelphia every September. A major staple of the York event calendar, the York Fair was first held in 1765, and claims to be the first fair in the country. A 10-day event, the fair offers free admission days for those who qualify.
York Fair features traditional activities like rides, games, and food, but also presents the Toyota Grandstand at the York Fair – an annual concert held at the Toyota Arena.
