See the Famous Gettysburg National Historic Park
Commemorating the site of the Battle of Gettysburg, the Gettysburg National Military Park is one of the most famous battlefields in the United States. The park encompasses 3,965 acres, and features everything from museums to a variety of tours to the Soldiers' National Cemetery at Gettysburg.
Visit the site where Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address, or take a ranger-led guided tour of the battlefield. Stop by the 22,000-square-foot Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center and you will see a wealth of information about the Civil War and Gettysburg. While at the center, make some time to view the film, "A New Birth of Freedom," to learn about the importance of Gettysburg and browse the exhibits and museum collections.
Gettysburg also features miles of trail for hiking, biking, and horseback riding tours. Other ranger programs include lectures at iconic spots like Little Round Top, Devil's Den, and Culp's Hill.
