Experience Family Fun in New Hampshire

With some of the top theme parks in all of New England, including the largest water park and famed Story Land for your little ones, New Hampshire is a playground for the smallest imagination to the most daring thrill-seeker in your group.
Water Country
Spend the day plunging down Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror at Water Country in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, known as the largest waterpark in New England. This family-friendly park is home to nine waterslides, a giant wave pool, kiddie attractions and a lazy river. Float for ¼ of a mile amid whirlpools in the Adventure River or take your chances riding the monstrous waves in the 700,000-gallon Giant Wave Pool. Concessions are available, but guests can also bring their own lunch and eat in one of many picnic areas located in the park.
Whale's Tales
Whale's Tales Waterpark is located in Lincoln, near Franconia in northern New Hampshire. Known as New England’s favorite waterpark, Whale's Tales features multiple slides for kids and adults, a lazy river and a wave pool. Popular rides include Shipwreck Island, featuring seven winding slides or The Plunge, a deep vertical decline where riders can race one another to the bottom. Whale's Tales offers free parking and onsite eateries like the Harborside Café and Oasis Beach Bar & Grill. Both water parks are open seasonally from early June to early September.
Clark's
Also in northern New Hampshire, near Franconia and Mt. Washington, the historical Clark's Trading Post & Family Fun Park provides thrills for the whole family. Originally Ed Clark's Eskimo Sled Dog Ranch, Clark's Trading Post in Lincoln, New Hampshire now offers everything from famous trained-bear shows and climbing towers to Segway tours and bumper boats. Enjoy a tour through history on the steam engine White Mountain Central Railroad and explore antique shopping and museums on Victorian Main Street. Shopping in New Hampshire is always tax-free.
