Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
One of the 20th Century's most celebrated architectural landmarks, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is located on upper Fifth Avenue, along Museum Mile in New York City, New York. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the building's striking architecture most notably features a rotunda, which is wider at the top than the bottom.
Under the direction of Richard Armstrong, the Guggenheim features numerous important works, including those of Paul Gauguin, Édouard Manet, Camille Pissarro, Vincent van Gogh, and Pablo Picasso. Visitors to the museum can also enjoy lectures, performances and film screenings, making the Guggenheim a must for any NYC traveler in search of some culture.
