Spend a day in downtown Buffalo and see what the Western New York Theater District has to offer. With musicals and other live theater performances ranging from classic comedies and dramas to newer, more innovative productions from such renowned theater troupes as the Irish Classical Theater Company and the Alleyway Theater, any fan of the stage will find something to enjoy.

Western New York Theatre District

Located in downtown Buffalo, the Theatre District of Western New York houses unmatched entertainment and nightlife. The district is dedicated to preserving some of the city’s health and well being by housing a wealth of theaters, restaurants, boutiques, and so much more.

The district was founded in 1979, and has been delighting visitors and residents alike. Certain members include the Irish Classical Theatre Company, the Alleyway Theatre, and so much more.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center

Situated on the grounds of the Saratoga Spa State Park, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center draws theater and music fans to Saratoga Springs, New York – north of Albany in the Hudson Valley region. Serving as the summer home of the New York City Ballet and the Philadelphia Orchestra, the facility is made up of an outdoor amphitheater and a smaller, indoor theater.

The Center is a go-to stop for big-name tours traveling through the area. Past headliners have included Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, Maroon 5, and Elton John. Each fall, the facilities host the Wine & Food Fest Grand Tasting.
