National Buffalo Chicken Wing Festival

If you're feeling hungry, visit the National Buffalo Wing Festival over Labor Day weekend. This event has been pleasing wing lovers for more than 15 years now and within that time they’ve earned their bragging rights. They’ve served more than 4.6 million wings.

Each year people compete not only for “best wings”, but for the prized pageant title of Miss Buffalo Wing and in silly contests like wing bobbing, where folks plunge their heads into vats of blue cheese dressing to pluck out as many wings as they possibly can. Enjoy the spectacle, the spicy wings, and a few live bands while you're at it.
