Central Park Is Where New York Memories Are Made

Anyone who has a passion for nature and a love of public parks must have a trip to Central Park on their bucket list. Be one of the millions of people flock to the 843-acre park; nestled between the Upper West Side and Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Snap photos of the 29 sculptures scattered throughout the park’s grounds. Observe 235 different bird species and over 25,000 trees. Rent a rowboat or kayak to take on the water. Go biking along the six miles of Park Drive. Make reservations at Tavern on the Green or the Loeb Boathouse.

The park has 21 playgrounds so there is plenty of room for the kids to get in on the fun. The Central Park Zoo offers four zoos and one aquarium plus an indoor rainforest, a colony for leafcutter ants, a polar bear pool, and a chilled penguin house.

Treat yourself to a ride on one of America’s oldest and largest merry-go-rounds at Central Park Carousel, with its 58 hand-carved horses and two chariots.
