Headquartered in Shelburne in northern Vermont, just south of Burlington, VTB was founded in 1983. Open daily, the Vermont Teddy Bear Company offers 30-minute tours of the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory for a small fee. Tours are held every half-hour during the summer season from 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and every hour from 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. during the winter. Just be sure to see the Bear Shop, too.
