Take in Spectacular Views of Dall Sheep and the Highest Peek at Denali National Park
Denali National Park, the most famous of Alaska’s wildlife parks straddles the Southcentral and Interior regions of Alaska. It is home to the highest peak in North America, formerly Mount McKinley, now referred to as Denali Mountain. Its thick deciduous forests are full of spruce and native hemlock, creating a canopy for wildlife like grizzly and black bears, wolves, caribou, and Dall sheep.
Visitors to the park can take advantage of numerous hiking and biking trails or hop on a bus for a day excursion to Denali Mountain in hope of spotting a bear or moose. Rafting tours, ATVs and dinner theater experiences are also available.
