USS Arizona National Memorial

Constructed in 1962, the USS Arizona National Memorial was built to commemorate the sailors who lost their lives during the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack. The memorial sits above the sunken ship, named a National Historic Landmark in 1989.

The memorial is conveniently located in the heart of Honolulu in Oahu. Guests are encouraged to stop by the visitor center – housing exhibits and information relative to the memorial.

Must-sees include the “tears of the Arizona,” and the shrine inside showcasing the names of every sailor who died aboard the ship.
