Oregon Caves National Monument
Set at the edge of the Siskiyou Mountains in southern Oregon, Oregon Caves National Monument preserves a slew of natural caves near Grants Pass and Cave Junction.
Created from marble dissolved by rainwater, Oregon Caves is one of the few marble caves in the world, and offers glimpses of plants and animals found nowhere else.
Stop by the visitor center in Cave Junction, take a guided tour of the marble caves, or participate in ranger programs to understand the wildlife and geological history and balance within the caves.
Afterwards, enjoy meander hiking trails through the forest land above the caves, providing stunning views of the region.
