Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area

Part of the Siuslaw National Forest, the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area covers more than 30,000 acres along the Oregon coast.

Set from the Coos River to the Siuslaw River, the area is accessed by the Oregon Coast Highway, and nearby towns like Florence and Reedsport.

Visitors to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area enjoy ATVing, hiking, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and horseback riding.

Other activities include wildlife viewing and nature photography.
