Lincoln is the home of the Nebraska Cornhuskers teams from the University of Nebraska, so check team schedules. The football team plays at Memorial Stadium and has won five national titles. Basketball games take place at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Check out the city's professional baseball team, the Lincoln Saltdogs, too.

Get active for yourself at the city's 1,500-acre Wilderness Park. There are miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding through the woods.
