Fargo Walk Of Fame

Set at the Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Fargo Walk Of Fame features over 110 handprints, footprints, and signatures of famous celebrities. Located in Fargo, the walk yields world-renowned stars as well as North Dakota-based celebrities. Celebrities include everyone from Bill Gates to Bob Dylan, George W. Bush, John Updike, REO Speedwagon, and Bert & Ernie. Found by Interstate 94, the free Fargo Walk Of Fame is open 24 hours from spring through fall on the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center grounds.

North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame

The character and life of cowboys, ranchers, rodeo riders, and other hard-working folk comes alive at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Center of Western Heritage & Cultures. The center is set in Medora within Theodore Roosevelt National Park – just west of Dickinson.

The 15,000-square-foot interpretive center features permanent and traveling western culture exhibits – plus the Hall of Honorees, a theater, gift shop, archives, and a large open-air patio. Open from mid-May through mid-September and by reservation during the off-season, the center is accessible from Interstate 94 via Exit 27.

North Dakota Fishing Hall of Fame

Along with the recognizing the state’s cream of the crop in sportfishing, the North Dakota Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum will try to lure you in with a variety of historical or significant artifacts and equipment used in North Dakota. Garrison is located about 45 miles south of Minot via U.S. 83 and ND Highway 37 (look for the twin water towers marked “hot” and “cold” nearby).
