Set in northwestern Colorado, Elkhead State Park is the perfect escape for a summer vacation. The park is located in Yampa Valley, just 16 miles east of the town of Craig – and a quick day trip from the Dinosaur National Monument.

Visitors of Elkhead State Park may as well head straight for the 900-acre Elkhead Reservoir.
