Dillon Nature Preserve
Sitting on the shores of the Dillon Reservoir, the Dillon Nature Preserve offers all Dillon visitors a 26-mile long hiking or biking trail in the summer and ski and snowshoe trails in the winter. It's one of the Denver Metro Area's best kept secrets.
Visitors can also take advantage of multiple trail loops leading to lakeside parks or pristine heights overlooking the Rockies and the reservoir. Don't miss interpretive trail signs showcasing the history of the area and the ecology of the preserve's trees, plants, and wildlife.

Open year-round, the trail reaches up to 1,050 feet in elevation, and is labeled as difficult.
