Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument
Designated in 1975, the Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is located in southern Idaho, just northwest of Jerome. Set along Interstate 84, Hagerman Fossil Beds preserves North America largest collection of Hagerman Horse fossils.
Operated by the National Park Service and spanning over 4,000 acres, the site draws approximately 21,000 annual visitors. Hagerman Fossil Beds features ranger led tours and programs, scenic overlooks of the Snake River, and an interactive visitor center.
