Hotels in Utah

Once snow coats the Wastach Mountains, Utah's ski season is in full effect. Explore northern Utah for impressive ski areas like Park City Mountain Resort, Alta Ski Area, and Deer Valley Resort – all near Salt Lake City. Head to southern Utah and check out Eagle Point Ski Area near Beaver and Brian Head Ski Resort outside of Cedar City. No matter where you go in the Beehive State, superior skiing is nearby.

Try some open road driving this winter in Utah. Try exploring the state on any of these excellent driving tours – there's the Southern Utah Tour, the Central Utah Tour, and the Northern Utah Tour. And while you're driving through the state, don't miss a chance to see the Cedar Break National Monument or Golden Spike NHS – just two of the excellent national parks.

But there is plenty more to see and do in Utah, especially in its national parks. Try winter hiking in Arches National Park – just outside of Moab in eastern Utah – or snowshoeing, sledding, and cross-country skiing in Bryce Canyon National Park in Bryce Canyon City. Take plenty of pictures, though no camera can capture the majesty of winter in Utah.

Of course, all eyes are on Park City in January for the world-famous Sundance Film Festival – just one of many great festivals in Utah.
