Enjoy The Excitement Of A Utah Rodeo

The excitement of an American rodeo is hard to beat. It’s no wonder then that rodeos are often incorporated into Utah events throughout the year. What are some of the most popular Utah rodeos?

The Bryce Canyon Country Rodeo is produced just outside the national park every summer. Come to Ruby’s Inn Rodeo Grounds every Wednesday through Saturday from Memorial Day through mid-August to watch some of the best Western rodeo competition out there.

Ute Stampede Rodeo in Nephi is considered one of the state’s biggest rodeos, and it has been drawing the crowds for more than 80 years. It’s a three-night rodeo that is PRCA sanctioned, and perfect for the family. In addition to the traditional rodeo competitions, you can also enjoy the car show, craft show, and parade at the Juab County Fairgrounds every July.

The Komatsu Equipment Days of ’47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo has become one of the favorite events of the Days of ’47 celebrations. The prize purse for the eight rodeo competitions is up to $1 million.

Other fan-favorite rodeos include the Wayne County World’s Fair Rodeo in Loa and the Dixie Round-Up Rodeo in St. George (a September staple for more than 80 years).

Bryce Canyon Country Rodeo

Tucked just outside the northwest edge of Bryce Canyon National Park lies the small town of Bryce Canyon City. Originally named Ruby's Inn after Rueben "Ruby" Syrett, Bryce Canyon City became an official town in 2007.

Visit this southern Utah town during the summer for some rodeo action at the Bryce Canyon Country Rodeo. Watch cowboys perform their best rodeo skills and silly antics at the Ruby's Inn Rodeo Grounds.
