Cheyenne Frontier Days
Drawing 200,000 annual attendees, Cheyenne Frontier Days is large rodeo and carnival held in Cheyenne. Set in southern Wyoming in late July, CFD offers the Grande Parade, a PRCA rodeo, and the Old Frontier Town. CFD also features country music concerts, authentic chuckwagon cooking, the Western Art Show & Sale, and the Carnival Midway – all found at Cheyenne Frontier Days Park. Celebrate throughout the year at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum.
Evanston Cowboy Days
Established in 1936, the annual Evanston Cowboy Days is held throughout Evanston in southwestern Wyoming. A four-day event over Labor Day Weekend, ECD features a PRCA rodeo, shopping food, and more. Rodeo events are held at Uinta County Fairgrounds, while live music, food and games, and royalty contests are found in downtown Evanston. Other events include the Two-Man Golf Scramble at Purple Sage Golf Course, a pancake breakfast, and the Labor Day Parade.
Laramie Jubilee Days
Called Wyoming’s Hometown Celebration, Laramie Jubilee Days is held annually in July at the Albany County Fairgrounds and downtown Laramie, Wyoming. Established in 1940, LBD features a carnival, shopping, food, and the Mr. T Bull Riding Golf Tournament. Jubilee Days attendees are treated with the Laramie Jubilee Days Parade along 2nd Street, the Miss Laramie Jubilee Days contest, and PRCA rodeo events like the Kids Horse Show, Mr. T Extreme Bull Riding, and WPRA Barrel Racing.
Ride A Horse, Feed A Cowboy
Established in 2007, the Ride a Horse, Feed a Cowboy annual event is held in Hulett in northeastern Wyoming – near the Devils Tower National Monument. A three-day festival in late August, the festival forwards proceeds to those in need. Ride a Horse, Feed a Cowboy events include the Old West Cowboy & Indian Collectible Trade Show, Horse Ride-In, BBQ, & Live Auction, and the Broncs & Bulls Benefit Rodeo.
Sweetwater County Fair
Known as Wyoming's Big Show, the Sweetwater County Fair is held in late July to early August in Rock Springs. Found in southern Wyoming along Interstate 80, the fair takes place at the Sweetwater Events Complex. Wyoming's Big Show features rodeo events, livestock shows, country music concerts, and Brown's Amusements Carnival. The Sweetwater County Fair also includes usual fair finds like food, games, and shopping.
The Legend of Rawhide
Located in Niobrara County, the Legend of Rawhide is an annual event set in the city of Lusk in eastern Wyoming. Held at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds during the second week of July, the Legend of Rawhide is a three-day celebration of Niobrara County heritage.
Operated by community volunteers, the Legend of Rawhide has been a staple of the Lusk event calendar for over 50 years. Events include poker tournaments, car and bike shows, dances, marathons, parades, the anticipated Legend of Rawhide Pageant, and of course the famed Legend of Rawhide performance.
