A 119-Mile Motorcycle Ride in Central Oklahoma
Make your way to the lively metropolis that is Oklahoma City for great festivals, motorcycle events like the Candyazz O.K.B.T.F., and the Oklahoma City to Cogar-Binger-Lookeba-Hinton Loop motorcycle trail. This 119-mile loop trail let’s you ride on the Historic Route 66, and past scenic parks, farmland, and plains.
From Oklahoma City, roar onto the Mother Road and make your way west past the town of Yukon toward El Reno. Continue west on Route 66, take a slight right onto US-281 Spur W, and find yourself heading south on State Route 8. Take OK-8 S past towns like Hinton, Lookeba, and Binger, rounding your route back eastward toward Cogar on State Route 152.
Stay on OK-152 E until you reach State Route 81, where you’ll hang a left and head north toward Union City. Keep riding along US-81 N until you reach the Interstate 40, where you can make right and head right back into Oklahoma City.
For a fun stop along the Oklahoma City to Cogar-Binger-Lookeba-Hinton Loop, spend some time in the Old West town of El Reno.
While in town, be sure to explore Historic Fort Reno – an Old West post established in 1875. Look forward to a Fort Reno Ghost Tour, or explore the Fort Reno Visitor Center for western artwork, exhibits, and sometimes Old West reenactments.
